Assist at Home Senior Care understands each older adult is a unique person. That's why we offer a variety of services for our clients. In addition to the services below, we work with families on preparing health directives and living wills. We listen to family members and offer encouragement and support during difficult times. We provide local resource information for the Rabun County area. Assist at Home Senior Care has also organized a Family Caregiver and Support Group Series that meets regularly at the Rabun County Senior Center, Tiger, Georgia.

Most of our clients do not require live-in care. Many use
our caregivers for several hours as needed, such as during the night or weekends. Sometimes the need is only for 3-4 hours a day. Assist at Home Senior Care is flexible and happy to provide care, whenever and wherever needed from two to twenty-four hours a day.

We provide certified and trained caregivers on two levels:

Companion Care Aides can provide the following services:     
       Transportation to doctors, church, out to eat
       Planning and preparing meals, grocery shopping
       Light Housekeeping in combination with other services
       Medication reminders
       Monitor bathing for safety
       Assist with walking and light exercise
       Pet care
       Liasion with families who live a long distance away
              
Personal Care Aides can perform these additional services:
       Assist a client with bathing: sponge bath, shower, bed bath
       Assist a client with toileting and changing briefs
       Assist a client with transfer from wheelchair to bed, etc.
       Assist with exercises as ordered by Physical Therapist
       Respite Care for caregivers to have weekend and     
            vacation time
       End of life care
